SICHAM is developing a series of children's books

1. Champa Children's Storybooks

SICHAM is developing a series of children's books featuring:

  • Traditional Champa folktales
  • Stories of heroes, queens, and cultural legends
  • Village life, festivals, and spiritual traditions
  • Moral lessons rooted in Champa values
  • Simple Champa language vocabulary woven into each story

These books will be distributed to families, schools, and community centers in Ninh Thuận and the diaspora.

2. Storytelling Circles With Elders

Elders are the heart of Champa oral tradition.
SICHAM organizes storytelling gatherings where elders share:

  • Ancient legends
  • Family histories
  • Songs and poetry
  • Cultural teachings

These moments strengthen intergenerational bonds and preserve knowledge that cannot be found in textbooks.

3. Youth Cultural Creativity Workshops

Children and youth participate in:

  • Drawing and illustration workshops
  • Story‑writing sessions
  • Cultural arts activities
  • Language‑learning games

These workshops help youth become creators and protectors of their own cultural stories.

4. Digital Story Library

To reach Champa families across Vietnam and the diaspora, SICHAM is building a digital library featuring:

  • Audio recordings of elders
  • Illustrated stories
  • Cultural vocabulary lists
  • Videos of traditional songs and storytelling
This ensures that cultural knowledge is accessible to every family, anywhere.
